Once there were two chickens that lived on a
farm. The farmer always forgot to shut the
gate so it was their job to do it. The chickens
would shut the gate so the foxwould not get in.One
day only onechicken
left the gate open and forgot to shut it.The
other chicken shut it in time right as the Fox showed up. He asked the chicken if she would
open the gate. She told him no. After he
left the other chicken came back from the
barn and asked“What did I miss?” The other
chicken then told her what happened.That
night the fox came when the farmer was
sleeping and dug his claws through the
chicken gate. The chickens woke and began
to scream in terror. They ran around trying
to escape the fox. Just then, the
farmer
woke up and got his rifle and shot at the
fox, the fox got scared and never returned.And the chickens were never harmed
again.
